The Brew Coffee Shop Rochester Hills – Premium Specialty Lattes & Sweet Treats

The coffee was excellent. We tried the cinnamon roll latte iced and hot, both are perfect. Be careful with the hot, it is very hot. My 4 star rating is because of the pricing, it is expensive for a 16oz latte. Also, it is very bright inside and a little sterile, it does not give a comfy, warm vibe. I would recommend the backed goods and the coffee is good but pricey.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was pretty good! there are regular and specialty drinks and some good looking sweet treats. I got the apple latte from their specialty fall menu. Prices are definitely a little high (paid $11.13 for my 16oz latte with oat milk). Overall, super cute place with good drinks!

Im not a big matcha fan but I had the fruity pebble matcha and it was soooo good. I honestly loved everything but I wish the price was a little lower as it was about $20 for two drinks but its also understandable due to the matcha shortage but still!! Loved the drink and the atmosphere was really cute too

It’s honestly funny to me how many of the negative comments are about the price or the matcha — especially when their prices are comparable or even cheaper than most other coffee shops! And when it comes to matcha, you have options: you can enjoy it the healthy way or as a latte, depending on what you like. It’s wild to see people so quick to bash a small, woman-owned business while still throwing their money at big chains. For anyone reading this — don’t let the negativity stop you. Go try it for yourself. I promise you’ll be back. This is genuinely one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to!

I came here with my sister, cousin, and friends, and we loved it. The place is spotless and spacious. The environment is cute and very quaint. Additionally, the atmosphere is refreshing, making it a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy a nice drink. The service by the employees was professional. I also felt very comfortable ordering and speaking to the staff. They were very kind and helpful in helping all of us out. Furthermore, the food was delicious. We all shared a banana brownie pudding and it was very tasty. I enjoyed the flavors in this dessert. Regarding the drinks, I ordered a fruity pebbles matcha latte that was incredible, and I am very picky with my matchas. I admit, I was a little nervous that the fruity pebbles part would not go well with the matcha, but to my surprise, I thought the two flavors paired perfectly together. The fruity pebbles part was also sweet and fruity. I would definitely order it again. My cousin and sister ended up getting the fruity pebbles matcha as well. My two friends also ordered a tea (not pictured) and the cinnamon roll latte (pictured). My friends told me that their drinks were very delicious, and I could tell that the cinnamon roll latte was amazing just by the smell and appearance. I am very satisfied with this place and would return.

I’ve been to this coffee shop a few times since they opened, and I’ve had a great experience every time. The staff is amazing—super friendly and welcoming. I’ve tried several of their drinks, and they all taste really good. Their desserts are also worth trying, and to top it off, they offer hand-scooped ice cream! I sampled a few flavors before choosing one, and honestly, they were all so good it was hard to pick just one. Highly recommend checking them out!

The quality was outstanding! If you are looking for a fun drink experience, The Brew beats every place in the area. Nothing was skimped out on - it genuinely felt like they were trying to make the best product possible, which is not common these days. I got the banana pudding matcha and my husband got the Dubai chocolate latte. I was pleased to taste that neither was overly sweet - it was very well balanced. The only thing I would have liked to see is a little more warmth in the atmosphere to make it a more cozy experience (ambient lighting, soft seating, mix up the paint and artwork a bit to make it feel a little less cold).
